Terms of sale

These Terms of Sale govern orders placed on smwordofficial.com with SM WORD. The publisher’s professional identity and contact details appear in the legal notice.

1. Products and availability

Essential characteristics and available options appear on each product page. Check the version, colour and compatibility before ordering. If an item becomes unavailable after your order, we contact you to agree a solution; no substitution is made without your agreement. Where the order cannot be fulfilled, amounts owed are reimbursed under the legal conditions.

2. Prices and payment

The applicable prices are those displayed when ordering. Prices are in euros; currency conversion may be offered depending on your country. Shipping charges and the total are presented before payment confirmation. SM WORD benefits from the French VAT exemption: VAT not applicable, Article 293 B of the French Tax Code. Invoices may be requested at smword23.pro@gmail.com.

Payment is due when ordering using the methods offered at checkout. The order is confirmed after payment validation; a confirmation email is sent to the address provided.

3. Processing and delivery

After payment confirmation, processing takes 1–3 business days, followed by transport taking 5–10 business days from dispatch. Business days exclude weekends and public holidays. Tracking, destinations, charges and remedies for delays are detailed in the shipping policy. A specific period agreed when ordering takes precedence.

4. Withdrawal and returns

Consumers have 14 days from receipt to notify withdrawal without giving a reason, then 14 days after notification to return the goods. For items from one order delivered separately, the withdrawal period starts on receipt of the final item.

Reimbursement includes amounts paid and standard delivery costs, no later than 14 days after notification. For goods, reimbursement may be withheld until receipt of the goods or evidence of their dispatch, whichever occurs first. The additional cost of a delivery method more expensive than the standard method offered is not reimbursed. You pay direct return costs for a change of mind; SM WORD covers them for non-conformity.

5. Statutory guarantees

Goods benefit from the statutory conformity guarantee for two years from delivery and the hidden-defects guarantee under Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code. The conformity guarantee allows repair or replacement, or, where the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or termination of the sale. Remedies are provided free of charge, within no more than 30 days and without significant inconvenience.

Prompt notification of a fault helps us deal with it; no 48-hour notification requirement limits statutory rights. Store credit requires your agreement and does not replace a legally owed reimbursement. Contact: smword23.pro@gmail.com.

6. Liability

SM WORD is responsible for proper performance of the contract under the legal conditions. Exemptions are limited to those provided by law. A carrier delay does not, by itself, remove consumers’ rights. Misuse does not limit statutory guarantees for a fault that does not result from that misuse.

7. Personal data

Data needed for orders and customer support is processed under the privacy policy.

8. Applicable law and disputes
